Een cover van Joni Mitchel. Het origineel is terug te vinden op Ladies Of The Canyon uit 1970. Naast 'Big Yellow Taxi' staat ook het vaak gecoverde 'Woodstock' op deze LP. Op het Counting Crows-album Hard Candy is 'Big Yellow Taxi' terug te vinden als verborgen track. Dit is echter niet het duet met Vanessa Carlton. Die versie is de muzikale bijdrage aan de film Two Weeks Notice (2002).
