The Sore Losers is een Belgische rockband uit Hasselt, opgericht in 2009.
The Sore Losers speelt rockmuziek met invloeden van folk, country, blues en garagerock. De band bestaat uit Jan Straetemans (zang/gitaar), Cedric Maes (gitaar), Kevin Maenen (bas) en Alessio Di Turi (drums).

In augustus 2010 staat de band op Pukkelpop, een groot festival in België. Debuutalbum
In oktober 2010 verschijnt het titelloze debuutalbum van The Sore Losers bij het platenlabel Excelsior Recordings/V2. Humo's Rock Rally 2010
The Sore Losers wordt tweede tijdens de Humo Rock Rally 2010. Humo Rock Rally is een tweejaarlijkse wedstrijd voor rockbands, georganiseerd door het Vlaamse weekblad Humo. Eurosonic Noorderslag
In januari 2011 staat The Sore Losers op Eurosonic Noorderslag, een festival gericht op artiesten en livemuziek uit heel Europa.
